Stanford University—BOSP (Bing Overseas Studies Program)

Stanford University

Stanford University and Shenzhen InnoX Academy have partnered on the Overseas Studies Program (BOSP), offering Stanford undergraduate students an immersive learning experience focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, technology commercialization, and China’s tech ecosystem.

Program Highlights:

1. A Deep Dive into Shenzhen — China’s Silicon Valley

Students explore how Shenzhen evolved from a small fishing village into one of the world’s leading hubs for technology innovation and hardware entrepreneurship. The program connects urban development, industrial transformation, innovation policy, and startup culture, providing a unique lens into China’s rapid rise as a global tech powerhouse.

2. Academic Learning Meets Real-World Experience

Beyond classroom discussions, students engage with the real startup ecosystem through company visits, hands-on workshops, and team-based entrepreneurial projects — applying theory directly within real industry environments.

3. Cross-Cultural Entrepreneurial Collaboration

Students work in multicultural teams to better understand how entrepreneurship, user needs, and market dynamics differ across cultural and industrial contexts.
