The Embodied Intelligence (Greater Bay Area Class) brings together leading academic expertise, industry resources, and global collaboration opportunities. Powered by InnoX’s innovation ecosystem, the program combines Harbin Institute of Technology’s strengths in robotics and control science with the faculty expertise of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, creating an interdisciplinary pathway that connects research, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
Prof. Huang Jie, Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, serves as Class Director, with Prof. Zexiang Li, Founder and Dean of InnoX, serving as Chief Advisor. The program is supported by an international faculty team including leading experts from both universities, as well as multiple IEEE Fellows and IFAC Fellows, who jointly shape the curriculum and introduce the latest advances in embodied intelligence.
Students will study at Harbin Institute of Technology’s Shenzhen campus and engage with Shenzhen’s dynamic technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through project-based learning, students tackle real-world challenges, develop solutions, and transform ideas into practical applications.
For aspiring entrepreneurs, InnoX provides support across the innovation journey, including seed funding, mentorship, entrepreneurship training, supply chain resources, and market connections—helping students move from 0 to 1 and turn innovative ideas into impactful products.
