To cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurs, InnoX has launched a joint master program with KAUST: Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE). This 16-month course of study, including an immersive startup innovation experience in Shenzhen, is designed to prepare students for successful careers in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Using an interdisciplinary, project-based approach, underpinned by scientific, data-driven research methods, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to commercialization. Enrolled students will also learn how to think creatively, identify opportunities and take calculated risks — skills that will help them launch entrepreneurial ventures and/or secure positions in innovative companies within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond.
To accelerate these goals, students will be enrolled in courses that cover a range of topics such as engineering quantitative methods, product development, applied mathematics, machine learning, programming and robotics. TIE will provide access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, world-class mentors, industry partnerships, networking opportunities with fintech investors and founders.
Notably, an internship will be organized in Shenzhen, China, where students will develop their problem-solving skills alongside innovation leaders in a unique immersive experience in China’s technology capital.
